For we all move on sometime.
Yes, there are things we don't want to let go of:
the joy and the pain which has shaped us,
the people who once were significant in our lives,
those points in our lives we anticipated,
various turning points we encountered,
things we picked up along the way,
the dreams that coloured our imaginations,
the melodies we listened to and hummed,
they all meant something to us.
Thank you for making that difference in my life.

| Resolutions |

I know we are well into 2009 but considering that it's Lunar New Year coming right up, I shall seize the second opportunity to think through my resolutions for this year. They are more or less the same as always, although the focuses have changed because some resolutions from the previous years have already pointed me in the right directions. Anyway, here they are:
1. Do my best. This entails:
- Preparing my tutorials for all my subjects
- Not alling behind on my homework
- Revising properly for tests and exams
- Not procrastinating
- Focusing in floorball and working with the girls
- Not giving up for x-country and running on
2. Building character. This entails:
- Being patient
- Showing respect
- No gossiping/ bitching about others
(Genuine concern etc needs to draw a fine line at bitching)
- Ensuring trustworthiness
- As above, no more procrastination
3. Fostering good relationships. This entails:
- Not pushing away my friends
- Being slower to anger
- Being approachable
4. God above all else. This entails:
- Trusting God, over myself |

And so the first week of school has passed for me this year and already the demands of school have creeped back into my life. Despite most of my holidays having been taken up by training and the likes, holidays were by far more enjoyable. Now I have to learn to juggle all the more. Even German is attempting to suck some of my energy thanks to our coursework.
The past week entailed:
> 4 days of floorball training
> Actually attending German
> Trip down to Bishan for new floorball sticks
(there was limited stock though, so we had to train with our still faithful sticks. Haha)
> Getting back the 16PF report
> Realizing how tight deadlines are this year
> SAA X-country Race

And from today's sermon, tenacity allows you to take on any task and see it through, no matter how impossible, exhausting or insignificant it may be.
